Obituary

Tiffany "Faye" Seymour Lunsford was born September 12, 1981.  She departed unexpectedly from us, on June 19, 2022, at Mission's Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.   She was born in the college town of Oxford, Ohio and moved to Hickory, North Carolina in 1988 where she resided much of her life.  She was the daughter of Kimberly Wartner and Paul Seymour.  Faye was also raised by her step-father, Kurt Wartner.

Growing up, Faye was an avid reader, played violin in the Hickory High School Orchestra, and enjoyed hiking the North Carolina Mountains.  Her love for the mountains took her to Black mountain, North Carolina where she met and married Derrick "Travis" Lunsford.  Together they created a home in Black Mountain where she resided her last remaining years.

Faye would always use soft kindness towards others and her greatest strength was to resist carrying a grudge.

She is survived by her husband, Derrick "Travis" Lunsford; her young and bibrant hildren Finnegan Lee, Theodora Ann, and Harper Paisley; her parents Kimberly, Paul, and Kurt; her siblings Ellen, Emily, PJ, aniella, Natalie, Madeleine, and Nichls; and her aunt Christina.
