OBITUARY

Mr. Pierre Demond Ramseur departed this life, Monday, July 22, 2024, at the age of 33 years. He was born August 5, 1990 in Catawba County, North Carolina to Joseanna Castle Ramseur and the late Ted Ramseur.

Pierre attended public school in Hickory, North Carolina.  He attended Maple Grove Reformed Church of God as a child.

Pierre loved dancing and singing and he had a strong passion for boxing.  He was a kind, loving and caring person, always willing to help others.  He will be remembered for the warm, beautiful smile he would greet you with.

Pierre was preceded in death by his father, Ted Ramseur.

Pierre leaves to cherish fond loving memories; his mother, Joseanna Castle Ramseur of Hickory, North Carolina; a son, Pierre Demond Ramseur, Jr. and a daughter, Olivia Marie Ramseur both of Hickory, North Carolina; a brother, Ted (Harriet) Brown of Hickory, North Carolina; two sisters, Evette (Reginald) Lowry and Josephine Margo Dickerson both of Hickory, North Carolina; two uncles, Adam (Hattie) Williams of Clover, South Carolina and Paul (Phyllis) Castle of York, South Carolina; six aunts, Margaret Ramseur of Hickory, North Carolina, Frances Brown of New York, Mary (Joseph) Burrist of Dallas, North Carolina, Jean Hanivle and Josephine Castle both of York, South Carolina and Pauline Williams of Lancaster, South Carolina; a special friend, Niecy Miller of Hickory, North Carolina; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 3pm at Maple Grove Reformed Church of Christ, Connelly Springs, North Carolina with the family visitation occurring 1hour prior to the funeral service from 2:00-3:00pm at the church.
