Mrs. Norma Patterson Pearson is resting peacefully in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ following a lengthy illness. She answered the Lords call on August 28, 2023 at her daughter's residence in Denver, North Carolina. Norma was born December 25, 1954 in Caldwell County, Lenoir, North Carolina to the late Sylvester "Gene" Dixon and the late Glendaile Corpening. She was 68 years, 8 months and 3 days old.
Mrs. Pearson attended Lenoir High School. She had excellent work ethics and worked her former years at Brian Center Hickory East for 30 years. She continued to work in healthcare in Home Health.
Norma enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved the holidays with Christmas being her favorite. She enjoyed giving gifts to everyone! Norma loved playing cards, watching soap operas, crocheting and sewing. She was passionate about caring for other people. She especially enjoyed planting flowers with the grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Billy.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Pearson, Sr. and a brother, Walter Eugene "Butch" Patterson.
Mrs. Pearson leaves to cherish fond loving memories two sons, Billy (Amisha Stokes) Pearson, Jr. of Hudson, North Carolina and Robert (Ashley Carlisle) Green of Hickory, North Carolina; a daughter, Davette Patterson-Yount of Denver, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Gabrien Gryder, Ava Yount, Ahonor Pearson, Moraviana Green, Mariyah Green, Amariaun Kyles, and Amaiuel Blackburn; three sisters, Beverly Pharr and Beatrice Colbert both of Lenoir, North Carolina and Arnetta Corpening of Hickory, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
