Kathy Carol Shuford of Dover, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023 at ExcelCare Nursing Facility in Dover, New Jersey.
Kathy (Bit) was born in Hickory, North Carolina, Catawba County, on December 27, 1954 to the late Kenneth Shuford and Carrie Scott Shuford.
She was educated in the Hickory City School System and graduated from Hickory High School Class of 1974.
Kathy is survived by her son, Michael R. Shuford of Madison, New Jersey; sister, Carrie Shuford Brown of Whitesville, North Carolina and an aunt Betty J. Primus of Hickory, North Carolina along with several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Morning Star First Baptist Church, 126 4th Avenue SW, Hickory, North Carolina (828) 327-2067 with Reverend Xenophone Lutz officiating.

Interment will follow in Southside Cemetery, Hickory, North Carolina.
