Obituary
Emma G. Williams was born June 17, 1945 and departed this life, on April 11, 2022 unexpectedly at Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born in Banks County, Georgia and moved to Hickory, North Carolina in 1976. She was the daughter of the late Seab and Irene Chapman Neal.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Sam and Earnest Neal and a very special friend who was like a sister, Ruth Williams.
She was an active member of Greater Shekinah Glory Fellowship, where she served on the Usher Board, early on. And most recently served as a Mother of the Church and Intercessory Prayer. She touched many souls, in these roles and will truly be missed.
She was an avid watcher of Westerns and loved cross word puzzles. She worked for many years at Catawba Ridge Daycare.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Williams of the home; her children; daughter, Tina (Mike) Chislom of Ikard, North Carolina, son, Joel Williams of New York and Sandra (Paris) Whitfield of Carnesville, Georgia; grandchildren: Brian Williamson of Hickory, North Carolina, Ashley (Anthony) Nicholas of Jacksonville, Florida Christina Chislom of Hickory, North Carolina, and Nyaisea Chislom of Charlotte, North Carolina; great-grandchildren, Arieana Williamson of Hickory, North Carolina, Canon and Caden Nicholas of Jacksonville, Florida , A'Nazaruz Johnson, Ty'Aarian Chislom, Braden and Abella Finger all of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Ethel Williams of Royston, Georgia; brother, Roy Neal of Commerce, Georgia; sister in laws: Margaret Farris of Union City, Georgia and Jeannette Williams of Commerce, Georgia; two special kids, Kingston and Javier Lineberger of Hickory, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
